Falmouth – The Cape Cod Scallop Fest is the perfect fall outing to celebrate Cape Cod in September:  strolling the Cape Cod Fairgrounds for delicious scallops, one-of-a-kind hand-made arts and crafts, live music, and a midway of rides and games.  Starting Friday, September 22nd through Sunday, September 24th, each day is packed full of great entertainment, with Friday’s lineup culminating at 6:30pm with Lenny Clarke, nationally known as a comedian and actor who starred in FX’s Rescue Me and There’s Something About Mary.  Saturday’s headliner, Draw the Line Band, is the region’s premier Aerosmith cover band with a standout performance audiences adore, beginning at 6:30pm.  Beatles tribute band Studio Two will round out the Fest on Sunday at 4:30pm.  There’s also corn hole tournaments on Saturday and Sunday starting at 1pm, where winners each day receive a Nantucket getaway. On Sunday at 1pm, enjoy an antique and classic car show with over 70 cars on view!  The midway of games and rides is back with the excitement and fun families crave, and over 60 artisans are showcasing hand-made works of art shoppers love.

General Admission is only $7 – children 6 to 12 are $2 and children 5 and under are admitted FREE.  FREE parking is available.  Learn more at www.capecodscallopfest.com.

The Cape Cod Canal Region Chamber is a not-for-profit corporation that raises funds to help the community in various ways.  Proceeds from the Fest help fund the Chamber’s scholarship program for 4 area high schools, donate to 3 local food pantries and contribute to the operation of 2 visitor centers that service the traveling public.
