VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR 48th ANNUAL CAPE COD SCALLOP FEST
SEPTEMBER 22, 23, and 24, 2017
Cape Cod Fairgrounds, 1220 Nathan Ellis Hwy, East Falmouth
Wanted: Volunteers to help run the 48th Annual Scallop Festival – one of the Top 100 Events in the Country! 5-hour shifts available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for servers, hospitality hosts, bus greeters, runners, and more. Busy workplace in a festive environment with designated volunteer parking close to check-in tent!
Experience: Not necessary but community spirit a must.
Compensation: Lots of laughs, free volunteer T-shirt and free admission into the Fest. Also receive a discounted scallop or chicken dinner for only $9.
“We need 500 volunteers to make the Scallop Fest work,” said Marie Oliva, President and CEO. “The only requirement is giving your time to the community while having fun.”
Oliva said that the Scallop Fest is looking for first-time volunteers to supplement the individuals and company teams that return year after year. “Working at the Scallop Fest is a great team-building experience; that’s why so many companies recruit their workers to help.”
How to Apply: Individuals and company teams welcome. Download volunteer forms at www.capecodscallopfest.com/volunteers or contact Paula at Cape Cod Canal Region Chamber of Commerce, email@example.com or 508 759-6000 x10 to have a volunteer form mailed, faxed, or emailed to you.
